Driving directions: From Sulligent take 278 east to Mixon Road.  Cemetery is on the right in wooded area.  This was surveyed 29 March, 2005 by Dianne Nolen and Kawatha “Kay” Chandler Koonce  Information in {} is from Dianne Nolen a descendant.


Nolen, Margarete – “To My Wife” - Wife of G. W. Nolen- Born – 16 Jan, 1850 – Died 21 March 1890  “ The Lord Gave, Hath Taken an Doeth All Things Well” {Margarete is the wife of George Wahington Nolen}


“To My Wife” – M. Jadie Wife of J. T. Garrison- Born- 4 Jan, 1880 – Died 24 Jan. 1904 – “Weep not for me my husband dear.  I am not dead only sleeping here.  I was not yours but Christ’s alone.  He loved me best and took me home.


Nolen, Mary Frances – Born 6 Sept, 1870 – Died 11 Dec, 1872  “Beneath this stone in soft repose is laid to rest a mother’s dearest pride”


Nolen, Than – Born 10 Feb, 1828 – Died 1 March 1903 {Son of William and Anna Guyton Nolen}


At Least two graves marked by fieldstones {Most Likely  William and Anna Guyton Nolen}


One that appears to be a Baby’s grave outlined in brick.


There are possibly other graves unmarked.
