Fayette's Civic Center is home to the art museum, which features a major primitive art exhibit of more
than 3,000 pieces, the Performing Arts Theater, and
Evelyn Walker Robertson Historical Museum.
This museum displays Civil War and other early
historical memorabilia.

Art Museum

This museum is city owned and houses a permanent collection of about
3,400 pieces. The gallery focuses on collecting, documenting and
selling art work created by living contempory folk and outsider artists.
These are a rare group of artist who form a small part of the self-taught
genre.

Gallery was founded in 1991

 

 

We are dedicated to locate, promote and preserve
the art of Cotemporary folk.

Fayette Civic Center Events

The civic center host other events such as the
Frog level festival, held on the 1st week-end
of October, the Balloon Fest, County fair and
Art Show in the Park.
